im lookin at 2 new engines for my 1996 ls integra, its got more than 118,000 miles on it. If any of yall know any info please write or email me @ [email protected].
I would like either a 2003 EX v6 Accord engine (240hp and 212lb ft @ a little over 6000rpms) or a 2004 nissan maxima(if it would fit), 265hp and 240+ lb ft at a little over 5000rpms!!! I will have alittle more than $6000 for the engine, what is yalls opinions?

Those are THE most rediculous swaps I've ever heard. If you want those worthless engines I suggest you go and buy those FAMILY cars.

For all the fabrications you will have to make you might as well get something better. I know with the right amount of money you can swap almost anything and if you have the money why would you swap in THOSE shitty as motors. Get an SR20DET or something along that line. Anything with BOOST is better than those shitty engines. With all the little things you have to mess with you might as well go rotary or something worth the money.

Talking

I think I see what you are tring to do. Are you tring to do something that hasn't been done? Well if so, it hasn't been done b/c it isn't cost effective. But if you want extreme and something different I would suggest a acura cl type S motor. DOHC Vtec 260 hp. Those cars are quick, and with that motor you integra would be hella quick! But it will set you back some serious $. If you want something to better the b18b1 you have then just look for a b18c1 or b18c5, they will be the easiest swaps possible and provide you some good performance increase. But personaly I like to keep the b18b1 motor that some think is worthless and make it strong.

I agree that swaping either of those two motors in the teg wouldn't be the most cost effective, or end up with as good of performance as other engines. But thats not what i asked. I asked why do you think those to motors are "worthless"? or "shity" as you put it.

I guess that I meant for the cost vs performance output that it just is'nt worth it. I don't think that the " originality " of those swaps is impressive either. Both swaps are not worked much in Japan or even showcased so
if even the people who made these motors aren't even interested or impressed with their outputs why waste your time?

crv motor as in ur going for a crvtec or b20 vtec??? Cuz if so, and built and properly tuned u can run 13's. Also the b18b1 is not a bad motor to fix up by adding vtec w/turbo u would get the same out put if u maintained ur motor properly.
