Chicago racing

Well, I was visiting my grandad's house over in chicago and he asked to drive my car. The man is still young (60) and he is a very skilled driver, but sometimes his ego begins to influence the way he acts on the road. Moving on, we were on the highway going into chicago and my grandad cannot accept anyone passing him while he is driving, so when he saw this white M3 cruising past us in the fast lane he was pissed. I knew my gti couldn't keep up and I was pleading with him to let the car pass, but he was already determined to gain back his pride. We were in 5 doing about 85 in the middle lane and the M3 was probably doing around 90. He shifts into 3rd and sends the revs up to 5500 and then he floors it. We dart into the fast lane behind the BMW and immediatly cruise up to about 3ft away from his bumper. Then, we shift into 4th and get in the middle lane so we can pass the M3. The guy sees us and as we pass he drops down a gear and keeps pace with our car. By now we were doing about 115 and my limiter cuts in at 130 (gotta get a chip). The guy in the m3 stares at us, flips the bird, and begins to slowly accelerate away from us. I was about to say something about how I told him that we couldn't keep up, but my grandad is till flooring it as we hit the limiter. I took some fussy pics with my old camera, but it wasn't digital so I can't post em. i also don't have a scanner.

not much of a story, but what can I say it was exciting.

I'll probably be somewhat like that when I get that old. How funny, it was a good read.

BTW: Welcome to AF!

Thanks Polygon, Racer, and KrNxRaCer00

I hope y'all liked it because it was really fun. Some day my car is going to be able to blow those M3's away. I can't wait until I can get a chance to get some more money.
