Hey guys, I was wonderin' what u guyz think about this muffler:

I wanted to know if anyone had this on their 4 door and if so, how does it sound? Is it deep n throaty (sounds like a porn movie) or a pussy whistler? Im thinkin on buying it. They are like $140-$150 U.S. What do u guys think?

I don't know about that muffler, but I have a Brospeed full catback on my DX sedan, and it is somewhere between deep and throaty and the pussy whistler, but closer to the throaty sound.....It was about $350 shipped from Nopi Online, but I think it was worth it to get the full stainless cat back rather than an axel back on my tiny rusted stock midpipe.

I agree with mitytexn..the stock pipe is 1 1/4" or less...a good 2"+ exhaust will even help open up the 1.5L on the top-end. I would recommend a Thermal R&D (~$375) or go to your local shop and ask for a cat-back system with a turbo muffler. ($260) That is what I did, and except for the 2 1/4" tail pipe it looks stock..and it does help keep the engines power from falling off at the top end (I also have a CAI, which helps get more air in..)

i know that those costs are both higher than your axle back there, but I kinda want to ask...why bother with a flashy muffler with a big-ass tip, if it doesn't offer any performance enhancement also
