Whats a Maxima GTR

I just read a few posts and peoples tags that say they have MAXIMA GTR
and they have a gtr emblem on their car.
Is this a real car or did they just glue a GTR emblem on it?

In 1995 they came out with a special edition Maxima that was AWD with 260 hp that only came in 7-speed. The maxima GTR. Yup that thing ripped in 6th gear It came off the production line in 1997 because the limited slip differential slipped

yeah, no shit, if the skyline was to come over here, i'd sell just about everything i own just to get own...btw, anyone play the geatway yet on ps2? reason i ask is you can jack Skyline GTR's, it's pretty realistic, prolly as close as i'll ever get to driving one

i think there should be a standard to putting a GTR emblem on your car. i like them but refuse to put one on until i have added atleast 50 HP.

if anyone has the Gumball3000 DVD, take a look at the bonus cut called "Domestic Rice". the guys go to a car show and see a mustang with a GTR emblem on the back with chinese lettering in the window. they really rip on him its pretty funny. the movie on there is really cool too, it makes you want to rip your car at 180mph across the country.

y2kev has an SC instead of an SE. A car is what you make it. I don't like it, but if other do, let them run with it. Stillen has an SMX. how come they get all the cool names.

I have actually saw a pic of a 2001/2002 Maxima GTR when the Sentra Spec V came out. The only difference between the SE Maxima and the Maxima GTR was it came with 263hp with like 5 more tq. It came with like the same interior as Sentra Spec V and it came with like special head lights a 6spd and a upgraded suspension. It also came with a Skyline style wing and muffler.
