a 88 si tranny is a good tranny and has 21 splines?

yea...it has 21 splines. Only the 88's do....the 89-91 has 20 splines... I would mind a 88 si tranny...that way i could use my clutch and flywheel that i already have..

nope its the other way around...look here and centerforce.com, read where it says input shaft.

Yes it would...the issue with the splines is that the axles are different..the tranny itself is still an L3 and will bolt up to any D-series motor

you would have to use the 88 flywheel and clutch assembly to use the 88 si tranny on the z6
