Cheap shock absorbers for 98 chevy cavalier

My friend is looking to put some coilovers on his car. He also wants to put on new shocks, but he doesnt have enough money to buy nice one's yet, so he's going to temporarily use cheap aftermarket shock absorbers, until he can afford nice ones (which won't be for like a year probably). So I was just wondering if anyone know's where i can buy some cheap cheap performance shocks (the cheapest i found was $50 each, but thats still too much). Thanx in advance for the help.



PS His stock shocks are blown, that's why he's not keeping those, and he doesn't want to buy another set of stock shocks, just anything slightly better thats still hella cheap. Thanx

I think 200 for a full set of struts is about the best you will find. You might be able to find some a little cheaper on ebay
