Hey i'm new here, I've recently aquired the car that first inspired my automotive enthusism as a child. Actually it IS the one from my childhood. Bought it off my uncle for practically nothing, but the thing is it's been sitting in storage for over a decade. Still has under 90k on the engine and it's body is pretty much mint.
So with a fresh battery, i get accessory power, with a faint buzz (like the door ajar buzz), but no crank. The ignition switch also has no distinct positions (O I II etc), It had a coolant leak from the water pump which i replaced the gasket and pump and thermo. I hear the fuel pump engage. So far my only ideas are the solenoid coil, or the ignition relay. I don't see how the ignition switch can went bad in storage....
ANY help or what not would be great... photo's of where parts are is really helpful also... that clutch fan was a pain in the butt and a half to get off... but blah blah blah I want to get this sucker running!
