zc motor-d15 motor

does a zc motor and a D15 MOTOR ACCEPT THE SAME CLUTCH?????

YES! - they are both D-series motors so any D-series (L3) tranny will bolt up.

As mentioned, there are some differences in the 88/STD/HF's spline count. I think the 88's have one less spline, so if you can, get a 89+ tranny and upgrade your hubs to 89+ if you have an 88..that makes things much easier. If you have an 89+DX/Si then I don't think you need to worry about it. I am sure some peeps will correct me if I am wrong.

Edit - hey - I just realized you asked about the clutch..yes...they will since the tranny is the same..the clutch goes with your tranny not the motor...so all my ramblig above still applies..here is some more 88-89-STD-HF differences...and I would trust 91zc's knowledge over my BS any day

k this is the thinh my clutch is going now on my d15 and i want to do a zc swap in like 6 months but the clutch wont last that long can i change the clutch for now on the d15 then do the swap and still use the new clutch? i have a 88 crx dx

It will work as long as you use an 88 transmission with the ZC. The clutches are different from 88, 89 and 90-91.
