V6 to 5.0 swap

I have a 95 stang and want to swap an engine from a 89 5L
can i do it?
just swap the engine and tranny ?

I wouldn't do it that way. If I were you, I would swap your engine out with a 94+ 5.0 engine... because that would be easier. But with the right money, anything is possible

Go for it...they even put 5.0 engines in Miatas..If I recall correclty, it costs about $20k for all parts and labor (not including the donor cars).

If you already have the motor, there are a couple of places that you can trade short and long blocks, you could switch your 89 302 for a 95. That way it would be like a factory placement and it would make your life much easier.
