hindging Mercedes tail light??????HELP
Need some help Im shaving in mercedes slk tail lights and i want them to hingde open so i can move the gas dorr behind the light got any ideas how i could i make the light stay closed and what kinda mechanism would release it with, i was thinking like a mini door latch and a solonied and door popper so i can push a button and the pop open and more idea's thanks for your help.

|
that cable that runs to the gas door is the same cable that is used on bicycle brakes. just got to a bike shop and order a really long one and cut to fit. then use the same pieces that you took outta the old gas door and make it work on the new setup
im doing this
