I have a BEL 9xxR (a remote) ..... I think it works great. You just have to get used to all the false alarms in your area, because it is quite sensitive.

a 400 dollar radar detector is a bit too much for me. I just want an early warning tool to reduce the chance of me getting a ticket, I know that one is probably better but I don't need it. Does Bel have good instructions, I don't want to sit around reading them just to be able to turn the thing on and use it.

the best one for the money is the escort passport 3500. I have it, and it works great. It's won ton's of comparison tests, even against the valentine one. i think its still 299, thats how much i bought it for a while back.

Are there any radar jammers that work?
All the ones listed on that site were listed as garbage. :/

I love that shadow license plate cover. Most of the ones I read about dont work worth anything.Florida uses that crap and i might be buying one of those soon just because of it.
