I'm just curious. I know that they make aftermarket parts for them.

The newer Odysseys have a C series V6, a C35.
The older ones (the four-cylindered Odysseys) I think used an F24.

Basically the same model that is in the Accord, but worked for more Tourqe and a bit more horse's.
Yes, there are quite a few after market kits for this engine, but you'll find a hard time fitting them in

The only thing I could find in the US is a filter from K&H and I did see a "Dragon" Filter kit from http://www.weapon-r.com/main2.html that would does wonders for breathing.

Other things I have seen are
http://www.woodtrim.com/catalog_productlist.cfm
http://partscheap.com/odyssey00.htm

I know that in Japan there are tons of body kits and mods, etc but since it is the family tour vehicle don't plan to do too much to my Oddy.

Hope that helps.:sun:

well if its the same as accord, that means it would be relatively easy to drop an H22A in one of them?

hmmmm

True... could be a pretty sweet ride (and sleeper), an H22-powered Odyssey!!!

Why the heck would you want an H22 in an ODY? My 2000 has 215 HP...and the 2002 has 240 HP!

anyone see anything in japan as far as performance upgrades, let me know. i'm looking to turbo the thing or something!

p.s. there actually isn't a Weapon R kit for the Odyssey....someone might have just put on a generic fit one if you've seen it. I personally took a cone filter and just added it at the end of the intake tube. seems to add a bit to the low end.

No, it would be ridiculous to put an H22A in a NEW Odyssey (which, last time I checked, tipped the scales at about 4,200 lbs.). We are referring to the first-gen. Honda Odysseys, which used an F series 2.4-liter engine, and made 150 bhp. Those are actually pretty light (considering that they're minivans), and could benefit nicely from a 200-horse H22.. or even more power if you're willing to massage the motor

I want like a 1998 Odyssey... I could make a CAI for it.. dual FMax turbos... custom exhaust (cat-axle) w/ a tanabe axle-back... sparco or recaro seats... DVD's and PS2's.... hmm... I want an odyssey!

hehehe...actually I have Thermal doing me a custom muffler and tip now. I want to do a turbo, or maybe if a Accord V6 supercharger comes out I'll do that instead.

My mom has a 97 Oddy, and it needs a damn H22! That thing is like a brick, it had horrible acceleration. I haven't driven it in months...

Why bother putting 4 banger H22, how about 3.2L Type-S engine.
If there is a enough room.

By the way, it's my first post.
I drive Acura EL and my parents have a 2001 Odyssey.
