A waste of money in 3rd gen accord? (86-89)
I just got finished completely restoring my 87 accord sedan. I dropped a 1.7 SOHC and transaxle from 2k2 civic (junkyard) and competely replaced the entire electrical system to the accord and fabriced the interior of the civic to fit like a glove. Car is much more responsive on the throttle and gets better gas mileage. I have also shaved everything possible ex. door handles, truck keyhole, hood, gas tank, and truck levers removed, electronically controlled. Truck, hood, and hood soleniod on keyless entry. immobizer system custom with 4 relays that ground the ecu f.i. wire, ignition, accessory, and of coarse the starter wire. There is just too much to list what all ive done to this car.Relocated fuel fill to truck. Air suspensioin, and yes it rides like its on air if its not dropped as far as it doesnt throw sparks in my faulty fuel fill job. To make a long story short, lucky I only had half a gallon of fuel left and it only flammed the truck. I will get back to you on the repairs and pictures if you would like to see it.
