Good replacement for an 87 Accord egine???

I am having a few problems with the engine in my 87 Accord LXI. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any other engines tht will be a little better in my car, and if so, how much are they going for($$$)? Do you suggest that I get a refurbished engine?

JDM f20B, there is now way that would fit, thats from a 94+ jdm accord SiR-T . its basically a destroked H22 which redlines around 8500, i think what your talking about is the f20A which is from a jdm 90-93 accord Si, but that engine wouldnt fit either, unless extreme modifications were made to the engine bay, which isnt even worth the thought.

Not like that!!! Its a hell of alot easier to put a H22 in than the f20b or a that is a totally different eng. hence 22= 2.2 and 20= 2.0 liters!!!
