I would also say once a week, you don't want to fuck up the auto transmission if you keep on racing it everyday.

well, as far as racing goes, more than once a twice or week is definitely bad for the car. full launches are very brutal on the transmission and will wear it out quickly. the engine, however, needs to be revved up on a regular based to keep the internals lubed up and this also helps to clean out the injectors

Are you serious? You have to rev the engine daily just to keep the engine running smoothly? Damn!1!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA
That is some very friendly piece of advice
Now everytime I go home or leave the university everyone will know the roar of my engine.

i have a question. do you think it's worse for the car if it's auto? in other words, could you race a 5 speed more often than an auto and maintain similar wear and tear?

As soon as some piss ant starts revving on me in his riced out POS but I don't just race ricers, I race anybody even cars I know that are going to hand me my @$$.

I raced a Vette one day, I was with him up to 30mph (in the rain) after that I was eating exhaust fumes. I love Vettes, the best bang for the buck true American made sportcar in the world.

paonessa, i would say that it probably is worse to race an auto on a regular basis. you don't have control over the connection between the engine and the tranny, so it's harder to manipulate launches without causing damage. also, i would think that a 5 speed would usually be a little stronger than an auto because they are used, for the most part, for racier driving. in addition, an automatic transmission is much more complicated and involves a lot more parts that could potentially wear down from repeated abuse

i see ford escorts at the track. not all the time but somewhat often. and some of those suckers are pulling 12's. if those things can race then a max definitely can.

Yo, I had a Z24 before i got my max, and I only lost in 1 race, and I smoked a Altima. I smoked a lot of cars, but especially the altima. As long as they got a 3.1 there not bad. . But no V6 MAX

I don't race rice. I've hunted down a couple of IS300s while they were going at it on the freeway. But lately, nobody seem to want a piece of my Max. I think its because I put 20mm wheel spacers in the back and now my car looks a lot faster than before. Why did Nissan push the Maxima's rear tires that deep into the wheel wells we'll never know. The sentra uses the same rear beam suspension and it doesn't look half as bad.

But I usually just go up and down windy back roads for fun nowadays. Everybody can go fast straight, going fast around turns requires more than a heavy right foot
