whate exactly are you looking for? what components do you need (headunit, speakers, etc?) how much can you spend? do you want more loudness or sound quality? this thread is vague without knowing these info.

see the thing is bro, i have no clue, i just want to have a system in my car, bass, good sound quality, woofers in the trunk. I'd probably have around 500 to spend not including installation. I just kinda want an idea.

whats the list of things you want, priority-wise? receiver, comp/full range speakers, subs/box, amps(subs & highs). are there any specific brands you want or dont want?

heres an example on what i paid for my stuff. all off ebay and nothing top'o the line, but good enough for me. btw, everything was brand new.

panasonic HU-$250
(2)12" volf subs-$120
ported box-$25
jensen amp(highs)-$125(crutchfield)
lanzar amp-$120
kenwood 2ways-$80/pair

you should go to best buy or circuit city and push a lot of buttons on things. look at some headunits, listen to some speakers, turn the subs up nice and loud, and get some prices. then from there, come back here and tell us what you learned and what you want from there. you dont seem to know enough for anyone to be able to help you out.
