has anyone ever put 15's in a 4th gen, I think the roof would blow off!! My friend had one in his 95 ex, and when you turned it up it would make the CD player skip

Don't get pioneer subs, they suck, I blew about 3 of those real easy with a Jensen 300 watt amp. IMO MTX makes the best sounding systems out there, nice deep clean bass.

i've got a box with 2 12" kenwood subs in there. they aren't the new kenwood tornado, they are the older kenwood pearl subs and they are blue. they bump really hard and i love em. i had them in my hatch.

if your friend needs 15's to make his deck skip then he doesnt know how to tune his system.

i hvae 12's in my car Alpine Type R's and i can skip the deck whenever i please, but my friend has some comp 10's and he can skip his.

yes, mtx is great, but diamond, eclipse or the kappa perfect line of infinity are WAY greater, but so is the pricing...i had purchased 4 infinity kappa perfect 10"s that i would ahve setup right now, but i sent them back so i could finish my turbo, my charge piping is being made as we speak

I never could get my cd player to skip, but I see that as a good thing. I was even hitting 140-143 db and never skipped once, guess i had a good deck.

Yea, I always like infiti also, but never have got to hear one of them.
