Introducing...myself and my model car collection.

Hi! I am new here, and I'm glad to have found this forum. Who I am and what my model car collection looks like is to be seen at my homepage : http://users.skynet.be/sennake.
I still have about 600 model kits in stock, waiting to be built one day (sound familiar?) and my actual collection is somewhere between 1100 and 1200 car models going from 1/87 up to 1/8.
I also work free-lance as a raceteam-photographer (Carsport America-Carsport Holland-Carsport Modena) so if you need some reference photo's and I can help you, don't hesitate to ask me.
That should be enough as an introduction, but I'm sure I will come inhere many more times from now on

600?!?!? Wow, you know, my wife wonders why I keep buying models when I have "so many" that are unbuilt......9 or 10. I should let her read your post next time she says something.

I have a separate room (about 5m x 4m) where I have 6 glass showcases against the walls, and all my models are behind glass, protected from dust. My workbench is also in that same room, as well as my computer desk. It's needless to say that I spend 99% of my free time in that room

A 1/43 model takes about 2 weeks, a 1/24 about 4 weeks, and a 1/12 model about 6...

I always work on multiple projects at a time (about 3 or 4) so that I don't lose time waiting for painted parts to dry...

My all-time favorite model surely would be the magnificant 1967 Ferrari 330 P4, although a 1970 Porsche 917 K comes close, as well as the 1970 Ferrari 512 S... that's why "Le Mans" by and with Steve McQueen is my all-time favorite movie
