Rethinking engine swap, anyone got any info?
I've been rethinking my engine swap since everyone does the B16A, so i got a new idea: B16.......B, thats the Civic Type R engine if u dont know. Its like $4500 w/mounts, shipping, and lsd hydro tranny (stock). Does anyone know how hard this would be to put in? Is it close to the same amount of labor as B16A or nowhere near it? Thanx

Its basically the same procedure on putting a b16 in our cars. Its just that you have to convert to obd2 then get the jumper harness to convert it to obd1. U dont want obd2. Anyways IMO its not worth getting b16b. Do what u like. I would just get a b16a and throw ctr cams and the whole valvetrain. Otherwise ctr motor is nothing special.
