Talking Another Skyline!! loads of pictures

Well let me say its been a while since I posted anything. Christmas time around my place everything tends to get put on the back burner and well I just could not get myself kick started on building another kit. So this was a good kit to get me back into the groove.:frog:
This is an Aoshima Veilside Combat R-32 Skyline with engine. This was my first kit to finish from Aoshima (have another almost finished). This was a good kit with little fit problems. The back tires tend to stick out a bit to much and I can't get them in any farther. Also the headlight lens were a tad bit out of shape as well as the windsheild whipers. No problem in bending them a little to fix the problem. Interior is great and the overall look is good. My biggest problem was the rear spoiler with no way of mounting into the trunk except by just hoping you get it on stright the first time with glue. Someone explane this one!?
Its painted in House of Kolor Orion Silver with gloss over (cant tell in photo's because the sun washed it out). The kit is built stock except the engine bar between the the tire posts.

Enjoy and cant wait to here any feedback...

Scott

Sweet! I want to get that kit, but can't find it at a decent price in the states (I think it's the same one I'm wanting). You did a great job and it looks like you have a really good camera, as it also picks up the dust. Great work.

Yes it has the engine in it. Weird build as the underbelly is molded into the base while the top part of the engine goes into the bay. Not like American model kits where the engine is one whole piece and you can see through to the ground in the bay area.

I bought my kit from Hobby Search for 16 bucks plus shipping. They still have in stock last time I checked.:flash:

Hmm... I don't think I've ever seen a silver skyline before. It looks good, but I'm not likeing those ground fx on the front bumber. Too ricy. Overall very nice build though.
