Which engine is the best????

What would be the Ideal (US) engine swap for a 98 accord 5 speed. I hear alot of talk about what people are doing with the B18Cs, but today I heard someone talking about a B20 swap from a CRV?? I am new to VTEC and dont mind admiting that I am an idiot when it comes to these engines.

an h22a, h22a1 or h22a2 are going to be the best bolt in swaps for your car. Then again you could always do a h23 block with an h22 head (good turbo motor). The B20b swap that you heard about was probably a frankenstien setup (utilizing a VTEC head) the b20b utilizes consecutive liner construction, "quad-sequential sleeve block." the distance between the inner walls of the adjoining cylinders, are reduced to 6 mm from the separate lines' 9 mm of the b18b, while retaining the same bore pitch. This enables the b20b an addition of 3 mm to the bore of 84 mm which, combined with the B18B's 89 mm stroke increases the engine's cubic capacity to 1972 cc. When mated with a vtec head this motor combo is very stable (frank.). Thats probably what they were talking about, good luck jared.
