Will the 3 series compact come to NA?
In another year or so I may be looking into replacing my '96 Integra GSR. My top picks for a replacement are the RSX type S (not as impressed as I thought I would be) or the MB C230K (the only new car under 30k that I actually lust after). I would also include the new BMW 3 series compact if I knew it would be sold in the states. Heck, I'd go as far as to drop the RSX from my list if I knew I could get a 6cyl compact.
Has there been any word as to BMWs plans for this car in the US? TIA!

Nope, I haven't heard any word. You can always ask BMW directly.
Terrible isn't it? Europe gets all the great toys when it comes to nice cars. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some of the diesel BMWs. (Preimum gasoline ain't getting any cheaper) *sigh*
