F50 - V12 Vantage - Viper GTS - Lambo - 360 Spyder

You won`t often get a chance to see this collection all in one day. I entered my Vette in a local Supercar show and here are some of the machines that turned up.

Unfortunately we were put outside in the rain, surprisingly we had loads of people come up and ask us about them and most of the kids wanted a Vette instead of the Viper !!!!!

That silver Viper with the orange stripes is amazing. I have never seen one with that color combo. Your Vette isn't too bad either.

The Viper looked a lot better in the flesh, the picture doesn`t do it justice, however he chose a bad parking spot as it was completely overshadowed by the F50 !!! It is an awesome piece of machinery. We were able to get a good look at it before the show opened and the owner was happy to show it off to us.

LOL thats for sure. I would never want to park something beside the F50. All the cars look great and I wish I were their to see the F50 and the Aston Martin V-12 Vantage. Two amazing cars. That is a different color for that Viper. I don't believe I have ever seen it before. When i saw the front of the Viper, the first thing that came to mind was the Shelby Series 2 lol. Oh well, I was suprised too on how much smaller the F50 is to the Viper. This makes sence Vipers sit higher and are wider. Man I just wish I could have been their. JHL81, you have a great looking vette. How long have you owned it? And what size V-8 you got powering that thing? Once again...Great ride.

Scott & Supercar - thanks for the comments, my Vette has a 355 cubic inch motor and around 400hp. Edelbrock quoted 420hp for there kit and I replicated it almost to the letter. I then found their cam to be a bit to much for the road so have changed to a CompCam which might sacrifice a bit of top end power. Best run with the Edelbrock cam was 13.8 but it completely destroyed the clutch in the process. It needed to much rpm of the line because of the cam so the clutch lasted less than 500 miles, I hope with the new cam and clutch it will run low 13`s without to much problem. I have had it for about 5 years now but very rarely use it. It has enough so I don`t get caught out at to many stoplights

The F50 is a surprisingly small car compaired to a Viper or a ZO6, not much more than a carbon fibre tub on wheels with an engine strapped to it, there was also several F40`s on display but I can`t find the disc with pictures.

J.
