Prices haven't been announced yet, but it'll probably run in the low $30k range. It's built by Karmann in Germany and based on the Mercedes-Benz SLK. It will be powered by a Mercedes-Benz V6 and offered with a stick shift.

The Crossfire is powered by a Mercedes based 3.2-liter 18-valve SOHC V6 engine, which makes 215 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed electronically controlled automatic tranny(sounds like problems in the long run) puts the power to the road. This vehicle benefits from an Electronic Stability Program, were Chrysler, integrates brake application and throttle intervention for YAW control, and ignition and throttle intervention for wheel control. I have also seen a 2.7L Supercharged V-6 that makes 275hp thats also available.
This baby will sell for $28,000-$35,000. THe expected price is $30,000

Why would an electronically-controlled transmission sound "like problems in the long-run?" Mercedes-Benz has been making electronically-controlled automatics for years. Chrysler themselves have been making them since the late 1980s.

A manual 6-speed transmission is also available on the Crossfire.

I wonder why they don't have the Hemi as an option.

B/C Dodge has the hemi. Both are the same companies, but it probably sounds better to have a Dodge Vehical with a Hemi.

There are Chryslers planned to have the Hemi, it is not a Dodge exclusive engine.
