I have a 2000 civic with stock taillights (orange signals). I want to do something temporary until I get new ones (I'm with you guys an being anti-altezza, I just like the red/clear combo) Does anyone know where I can get a picture of some smoked lights on a civic? I saw another post telling how to make them all red (thanx for that). Anyway, let me know what you think. too rice?

Ive seen some spray stuff to do tinted taillights. You could try that.

i tinted my inner tails on my black coupe (the ones on the trunk lid) so they look black from about 3 ft away and blend in with my black car, so now my car looks like an accord from the back.. pretty cool, turns a lot of heads.. the other thing i did was disconnect the tail/brake light in the trunk lid lenses but i left the reverse bulbs in (and it still shines pretty bright, cuz the paint is transparent when light shines thru) so it's all legal. i'm sorry i don't have any pics
![]() i got the tint from summit racing.. it's called nite shades.. i think it was like 7 bucks. btw, if ur civic is a 2000 it comes with red/clears stock... unless it's a sedan.

tinted lites are more euro than altezzas fo sho...
like the tinted lites on all vw gti's... they look awesome as hell... i think you should get the clear/red ones, and tint the whole thing... hell... what color is your car? b/c you might be better off w/ the all red look... looks like an audi a4... or if you are rollin in a black car, do the same, w/ the black center and tint the whole outter piece red... the white part basically, and it will look similar to the a4... which has bomb tails... |

FLYLWSI, I have the sedan in 'Iced Teal' (the light blue-green color). I was thinking I would spray the orange out to make it all red, and then decide if it would look good with the tint. If anyone has pics of a 2000 sedan sprayed, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for all the replys.

maybe... this is just an idea..
paint the red sections on the trunk the same color as the car, and leave the white on the bottom... i think that might look cool... well, i know it would look cool, but that is up to you... same idea as a black car, but you would have the white section a little wider than the red... just a thought... |
