Duplicolour Mystify paint question.

has anyone experienced problems with this stuff?

Duplicolour Mystify paint, the kameloen stuff...

i used it on some fujimi models, and orange peel was the result, and I had to spend hours sanding it down..

Now I test painted a spare hardtop from a Tamiya S2K, the same way, and there was NO orange peel at all.

Are the plastics different on each of the model manufacturers?

Try wet sanding the primer with 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper before applying the color coats.

OK... the paint you speak of is a three part system.. the black is a base coat the color is the magic coat and then the clear.. the black does not really work as a primer.. it is just simply a base for the color.. if you spray just the color over say a windshield you can see throught it.. You still need to prime under the black.. Later Rick S..
