Intake Resonator
I tried removing the intake resonator the other day and couldnt work it out.
Ive heard you donthave to remove the bumper, just jack it up and take of the splash guard, so that is what I did. I could get all the bolts out of the resonator but there didnt seem enough clearance to pull the resonator sideways so it wouldnt be connected to the tubing anymore before it hit the bumper. What am I doing wrong?

I believe your talkin about the u shaped tube that goes where the filter does on the cai's. I remember there being one bolt hidden like right in the middle that caused alot of problems, but other wise it was a tight squeeze but i got mine out by takin the wheel off and just moving the splash gaurd to the side. Just work with it slow and with a lilltle help you can yank it out.

Thanks very much, got it sorted now.
I was trying to remove the white box without removing the tubing which obviously dont work because of the 3rd bolt that I didnt know about. Sounds much better now

i pulled mine off yesterday, it took 2 minutes. di you get the hidden bolt in the back? you dont need to take the bumper off just the front of the splash gaurd. just wiggle it around and push down from the top real hard, and you give birth to the plastic placenta. if your car is not lowered you dont even need to jack it up- or take the wheel off, its so cake!:greenchai
