Hey...found a car forsale

Hi....

I am looking for a car right now. I found a 1989 4-door Civic. It has 160k on it. I was not planning on buying one of these 4-doors (I was thinking of a hatch), but this could hold me over until I can get what I really want.

The main thing that struck my interest was the price $500. Is that good?

Also, are there any pictures of these? That looks SWEET?

first off... Canadian or American funds?
if Canadian then u'll prolly have problems cuz its going so cheap. prolly need a valve job, body work. and some other maintenance, (ie balljoints, rear wheel bearings, brakes etc...) stuff like that. if you have a pic of it i'd b interested in seeing it! and let us know whats wrong with it. if its 500 american thats a decent price, prolly bout 800- 850 canadian (rough guess, dunno the exchange right now) but it might be good. but i suggest going around and checking it out thoroughly! make sure they start it, take it for a test drive, then when you come back rev it a few times and make sure it doesnt smoke at all. also. if its standard make sure no gears grind and its all nice and smooth.
there my .02 cents

Thats not always true man. I mean yeh of course its gonna get u thinkin whats wrong with it since its real cheap but there could be other reasons also? Maybe they want to get rid of it quickly.

go for it, it sounds like a good price. I bought my 90 EX for $2k w/ 154k miles on a A6 that died four weeks later. I dont regret it at all, the parts car I'm using is a 90 CRX DX and I'm doing some decent modding on it.

I paid 450 for my hatch and iv had to do alot of work to it. But its awesome so I dont mind. But at any rate if you pay 500 for the car and have to put 500 into it thats stilla cheap car.

i'd go for it but try not to spend any money on it, so that you can buy one you really want when you find one
