Which car are Ford using (Monte)?
This is to all the crazy gearheads who can tell every miniscule difference! Is this a 2002 car with a new livery? Or are there some changes? Because the car they tested was quite a lot different.

Yeah Alex, Ford are still using the Focus in the same homolgation from 2002. They will introduce the 2003 car some time later in the year. That is the car in the testing pictures with the 206 style rear wing.
In WRC each team is allowed one homolgation per year. Most teams introduce this part way through the season i.e. the latest 206 was first rallied on the 2002 Acropolis. For the past few years Ford have tended to bring the new car in for the Monte but this time are waiting a bit.

It must be the 2002 spec car. According to earlier reports, the 2003 spec was faster in high-speed seections then the 2002 one. So I think thy would have been able to thread Seb if they were running the new car.
Again it's going to be an open wrc this year. Also the manufacturers one!
