ok, does any1 have the plastic peice that is below the steering wheel (that covers where the steering colum, ect.. goes) that they will sell me that will fit the 97?

i lost mine too. my friend at oil change express stole one for me and slipped the lady my broken one. she proably got 100 feet down the road and it fell off and she probably didn't even know it

hha, yes it was. mine isnt broke, its jus where i have some switches in it and i want to take them out and not have the holes there, so i have put the switches somewhere else cuz everytime i get it or out of my car i hit them and the switches move from side to side and up and down cuz of that now. that and i am gettin tired of replacing them

Just try the Nissan Dealer if you can't find a Maxima in a local junkyard. I can't see this part being more than $50 maximum.
