Unhappy Newb help...

Im RILLY sorry for all the newb questions but i just dont want to get myself into somthing that im gonna regret... i have a few of those crappy models sitting around the house so ive decided to work with those before i move on to some bigger projects... Heres the thing, i want to concentrate on painting mostly so i dont know if i should go with airbrush(id have to buy but i dont know if i would be using it much) or spray paint(i can get it free in base colours) but for the airbrush i can get all sorts of colours because my dad owns 2 furniture manufacturing companies and he powder coates and much more... so i dont know what do you think?

Just a suggestion: you should work on the basics with a spraycan to get your technique down first and then move to an airbrush when you feel comfortable :grey:

i guess it just matters what coloer you want to use. A can will give just as good of finish if you know what you are doing.

I have a related question. I have an airbrush sitting around from when my older brother used to do models. I plan on starting my first model soon. Would it be smart to start out with the spraycans before I try the airbrush?
