Usdm D16a8/a9?

is this the same as a zc engine? and will it bolt on to a 89 civic hatchback?

I didnt think there was a usdm a9 motor.

The US never got a d16a8/a9 or ZC motor. The closest that we got was the d16a1 which came in the late 80's integras. It is a dohc motor that produced less hp than the ZC or other dohc d16 variants.
