What color should the interior be?

I am thinking about painting it semi-gloss black. Will that give it a realistic finish?

i'd go with the semi-gloss black to. Most cars of that year went for a mainly plain black.

Another nice touch you can do is to paint it flat black then use Tamiya Wax to polish up the matt finish. Looks very good.

I airbrush my interiors, and find a 50/50 mix of semi and matt works well!
Depends if you are brush painting! Semi gloss would look a little too shiny if you brush, but work well if you spray!
Paint it on using lots of thinners and a few coats if you must use that route!
