10,000 rpm
what would you have to do to your engine so that your car would be able to handle 10,000 rpm.

A lot. And it will be a hand grenade.
A Toyota Atlantic engine is limited to about 9500 RPMs and they don't last all that long. It's based on the 4AG which is Toyota's 1600 DOHC engine (think ZC but with a Toyota). Significant changes to rods, crank, valve train, you name it. They make about 250 HP. |

They sell fully built blocks that can handle around 9600 on a 2.0 gsr motor hehe. Read the specs on it. it should give u an idea.

Why would you want to go that high? Just because you can rev to 10k, doesnt mean the powerband goes that high.

I don't want 10,000 I just heard it a couple of times on this forum. and I was wondering what they did to get that high. personally I want about 8000rpm.

HAVE THE REV LIMITER REMOVED FROM YOUR ECU, AND YOU CAN REV TO WHATEVER YOU WANT.

To answer the question though, pretty much everything would need to be replaced, cam, valves, springs, retainers, etc.
