R32 Calsonic GT-R

This project is one I am doing for someone else so I am doing my best to make this kit the best I have made.

Bonnet: (damn camera seems to highlight the slightest orange peel in the paint

dont worry, it looks the best. I like the seat and the coloring. BTW, are the rims Nismo LM-GT ??? can you try to put the body and the chassis together to see how it looks. thanks

note the shell has only had a few light coats of paint

Left side:

blue wheel nuts

Right side:

Red wheel nuts

Should have more progress pics tommorow (I'm currently sitting here watching paint dry).


Now I have to try and find this kit so I can make it for myself
The only one I can find is the R34 Calsonic.

here is an updated pic



All that is left is a good going over with Tamiya compound, application of lights, decals and the rear spoiler.

Haven't decided if it will need a clear coat yet , probably not

I don't like how "fake" the rear indicators look when done to the instructions, so I am trying something different.

First bare metal foil was placed over where the indicator is and pressed down firmly trying to get it right into the groove. The BMF was then painted in Tamiyas clear orange. Once this has dried then I will cut around the indicator and hopefully end up with 2 decent looking indicators.

The back end. Just have the liscence plate lights to attach and it's all over


the side
