power steering question

hi there...i just want to know...if your car is stoped, on N, P, if you move the steering the rpms drop a little???? every time you move it

Hi,
This is normal for most any car with power steering that uses pump.

The rpms are supposed to increase as a result of the power steering pump drawing power from the engine and the engine increases idle a bit to compensate. that's what mine does
