Ferrari 360's performance?

I haven't had a chance yet to ride in a 360 Modena, but I was wondering if it offered neck snapping performance from the V-8 engine?

Well don't expect a drag racing car since this is a track car. But i can accelerate from 0-60 in 4.2 sec. This is slower than a 550 maranello but on the track is completelly obliterates its big ferrary brother which despite its superiour power is more of a touring car.

If you're expecting to have your head thrown back into the seat with only 275 ft/lb of torque, you'll be let down. the next modena that uses the 4.2L maserati engine will have much more torque than the current engine will offer more "head pushing". just don't expect it to rival a hemi cuda, Ferraris aren't really known for their high amounts of torque, their power is developed in the higher revs.

Speaking of the 420, has anyone seen any pics or drawings of the car?

Nope, but I heard that it's going to use more "exotic" styling as the current was ridiculed for being too bland. I personally think that the current stlye is super-sexy, and with the 2200 hours that they spend in a wind tunnel to make it perfect, its not just pure beauty, but it's beauty+function.

Totally agree the modena is one of the best looking cars in the world.if not the best. And it just might be the most aerodynamically correct.

How big is it? If it is under 5 megs you could try using geocities, or ecomplanet.com
