Need some serious help!

Well this question i actually about my 2002 lincoln navigator although i do also own an integra. Ive owned a 2002 Navigator for about half a year now and the mileage is really pissing me off. I like everything about the car except that it gets 12 mpg and I cannot go anywhere without having to pump the gas and the fact that i have to buy the most expensive gasoline. Are there any possible solutions to increase the fuel economy at all? I know u can use electronic fuel controllers to increase mpg on import cars but would that also be possible on my navigator?

the solution is to drive your integra more often. no one buys a navigator becuase it is cheap to drive. the car weighs about 2 tons and has a giant v8 in it, its not supposed to get good gas mileage. just admit defeat on this one, and be glad that you have an alternate car to drive.

i agree...with the weight an size of the motor, its really impossible to get around the poor gas mileage. navigators are sooooo sweet tho, so i see how u would want to drive it. i guess jus put in a few more hours at work to pay for the gas, or start likin ur lil teg more.

Talking

Swap in a 1.6 SOHC VTEC-E engine from the 92-95 Civic VX in that bad boy Navigator. You probably could hit 0-60 eventually - and hey, you might even make it up a speed bump :jumpie:

GO VTEC!

hybridsol has the car you are looking for. i wish i drove that car, let alone his crx that beat the cuda. i still dont know exactly what he is running though, all anyone says is, "fast enough to kick your ass, hahahah." i know that much, just want to know what kind of 1/4 miles times he is able to get out of that thing.

my car, on the other hand, is completely stock except for some stereo work.
