3G Civic...will a 89 teg motor fit??
I know this belongs in the 3 G section but those guys don't respond to nothing over there. I was wondering if a 89 Teg motor will fit in my girls 86 civic Dx. It's carbed right now. How hard is the swap?? Anyone know of swaps for this year civic??

it will fit. The hard thing is making it fuel injected, most people start with a 3g Si

yeah, like he said start with a Si and it will be a breeze, I was lookin into doing that with my 85 CRX Si but money and lack of old 'tegs was my problem. It's actually about as easy as slamming a ZC into one of the 4th gens except you have to move the A/C lines a bit and mod one of the mounts and of course use the 'teg tranny and ECU
