what is the hardest part about dropping in the sr20?
well? i know its not something a begginner can do, but what is it?

i'd agree. from most stories i've heard (haven't actually done a swap myself yet), the wiring is a bitch. places that do the swaps charges upwards of $100 to do the wiring for you on top of the regular cost.

I've helped friends install SR's before and the only hard part, was the wiring, like the other guys said. It just took the longest because the harness had to be laid out, unwrapped, some wires had to be lengthend, shortened to make it cleaner, and spliced. If you have the SR wiring diagram and the KA wiring diagram then you can do it yourself... it just takes a long ass time. srswap.com charges about $100 to do it. IMO it is worth it to spend the $100. The wiring took us about 2 days to do, working on it about 6 hours a day. so you can do it in 1 day yourself, but it's just a PITA
