very nice.....................

but the idea has been done before, and turned to shit.We started a 'kiwi crew',just to acknowledge the large number of NZ members using OT, and before long we had people starting 'crews' left right and centre, trying to score points off each other and generally getting all uptight about nothing.

Well, the whole point of using the name Canadian Club was to do a take on CC whiskey... thus why I stole their logo Also, that it would be small, and easy to fit in a sig.

Taranaki, maybe your failing was that it was based in NZ... :hehehe: just ribbing ya man

the goal of our club is just to see how many CDN members are on the board and acknowledge them. if anyone gets uptight and thinks were some sort of "cru" who are all going to back each other up no matter what (in flame wars etc.) then that person is wrong, because i, for one, will take whatever stand i see fit. if it happens to be the same one as the other member, then so be it. but if i have a differing opinion, the fact that the other person is also a Canadian isn't going to stop me from expressing my opinion.

the Tofu Crew is the same idea, except replace Canadian with Initial D/drift/JDM fans

You're just proving my point!

I think Iketani summed it up pretty well... it's not about forming a crew, it's showing your colours! Yeah that's right, it's spelt COLOUR!!! :hehehe:

that's why the old flags beside the names were good. you could easily see where everyone was from without having all these "cru's" popping up and starting shit.
