Question What kind of kit do I want?

So I've been making a list of mods and such to do, been getting tons of adivce from you all, now the more specific newby questions.

So Im gonna start putting my car together, there's a big car show here every year the 2nd week of June and I think I wanna be ready for it, so Im not gonna wait till spring, Im gonna start now, my buddy has a heated garage

Suspension is first. I wanna lower my car, about 1.5-2''. I have a 92 Civic VX. I plan on 15'' wheels in the future, but Im runnin on the 13'' donuts for now. I also plan on a b18c or b16a swap in the future (more weight), plus there will be a front lip and side skirts in the future.

I don't really want coilovers, this is gonna be a daily driver.
So, what is a decent lowering kit, everything, springs, struts, camber kit(if necessary) for that kind of drop, those future mods, good handling (with added sway and strut bars), no hoppies, but tight enough to handle crappy ohio roads. Price range $250-$350. (I can go more if its worth it but staying under $425-$450 is the plan)

I ask because all the websites say their's are the best, and consumer reports and the like dont triffle themselves with lowering kits apparently. And you all have experience, round here we have cavaliers and a**holes who wouldnt know a civic from a hole in the ground. So something good and why.

any and all help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
-wheel

i'd say get some h&r springs and koni yellows.. might be a little more than your willing to spend though..

you could also go with eibach sport springs and some kyb agx's.. this set-up will still put you over what your looking to spend.

i'm sure you could peice a kit together for the 2 to 350 you're looking to spend, but just remember you get what you pay for..

Im thinkin an Eibach prokit and some Tokico HP's (not illuminas)...I have a pretty reliable mechanic that Im gonna talk to, see what he can do for me about struts. Me thinks some good springs with the right commpression and size shocks I could be ok.
