Pics, Fujimi Ferarri 348tb
I did this kit a while ago. I was very unimpressed with how it turned out. This was the second fujimi kit I've made, and I've hated both. Everything was very fragile and a lot of parts broke and didn't fit well. This was extremely frusterating to build. I didn't polish the sides much because I was afraid of damaging it. I wouldn't recommend this kit to anyone except people very experienced with fujimi and *light* hands

despite the many problems you ran into, it looks pretty darn good to me. well worth a look. only thing i would suggest is adding some black to the insides of those tailpipes. i usually shave excess plastic in the tailpipes by spinning my hobby knife in there. works quite well. but a spot of black paint will also do the job. great job overall tho

Thanks guys. I like the one shot that I put as my avatar
![]() Yah, I should do those tailpipes. She'll get a partial overhaul sometime in the future. That or I'll get a different 348 kit. Does tamiya make one? This be one of my favortie ferraris.

You've done a great job on a 'questionable' kit.

For a great example, see www.italianhorses.net.Would you pick up the Fujimi 348 again for $6?

I guess I had light hand. I don't remember encountering any problem with either Fujimi or Hasegawa 348. Fujimi one was easier to put together, while I needed more careful dry fit with Hasegawa.
I like the shape of Hasegawa one, because it looks sharper, and it comes with the engine. |

Did the hasegawa release come with any photoetched parts and carpet? I've noticed Hasegawa stuff usually come with these, but I personally prefer Tamiya or Fujimi plastic quality over theirs. Hasegawa plastic seems to have a soft, 'bendable' feel to it.
