I'd rather take it to the mechanics and have them clean it for you.

Yeah i would pull the injectors out and send them to like RC and have them clean them. I work a place in the summer that makes Prestone products and we make the Fuel Injector Cleaner and it dosen't work worth a dam. If the guys in the lab that mix the shit won't use it than i won't. Most all of the shit is the same too like Gas Treatment, 0-60 Booster, Fuel Injector Cleaner...pretty close to all being the same shit.

You would do that for DX injectors? For that price he could do the mpfi swap.

Oh for a DX well in that case i would start pulling mounts and rip the motor out and put a Si in it. Thats how i would fix a bad, or clogged injector in a DX.

I would check the rotor and distributor cap first.

pull off the cap, make sure the rotor is on tight and has no cracks and is looking healthy... look around in the cap make sure it looks all good and clean no broken parts ect.

Yeah, it could also be bad spark plugs, wires or a number of things but i would look at the cap and rotor to see what they look like and go from there.
