doors off, no. interior panels off, yes....if you want to try and salvage the clips.

i just priced this at honda on thursday....can you believe it's $70.00 a side for a set of new moldings and clips?

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. I did my SiR con. and I got the 91 moldings and for them to match the bumpers and fenders, I needed 88-89 moldings. I about fainted when they told me the price @ the dealer. I tried parts houses but, they don't want to separate them from the door. Good Luck. More detailed instructions on taking off the moldings and clips please???

You can remove the side moldings without removing the doors, or the interior panels, but only if you don't care if you mess them up...

At the rear edge of each door, just inside, there is one nut that secures the rear edge of the molding... if you remove this nut, then you can just pull the molding off starting with the rear end, but it will crease the moldings, and you won't be able to re-use them. It will probably also bust alot of the clips...

When I took mine off, most of the clips stayed on the car, and the molding just popped off of the clips... Most of the clips can be removed without breaking them by grabbing them with pliers and twisting them 90º and then pulling them out.
