engine upgrade?

is there any way you can get extra hp in the engine it self? (like port and polish,modified piston,larger fuel injectors larger throddle body etc)

You can stroke your motor out. Some guy did it to a 4th-gen on the dot org.

Port & polish does nothing for hp gains, it only clear up flash & caster left over in the engine when it was built at the manufacturer. When the job is done it allows water (coolant) to circulate better with less obstructions to help cool the engine, it also helps prolong the life of your engine as well.

But you can also do just as Pick said and have an all motor beast.
