can som1 help me????
woke up this morning at 8 after i got home like 3:45am..i went to go start my car and it wont start. It turns over very strong but it wont start. I tried jump starting it and it still wont start. i THINK.. my system did somthing to it but i dont know..WHAT COULD IT BE??????

it might be something with your distributer. if the car turns i dont think it would be your battery. so it probley wont be the battery. check the mainrely like fourth gen hatch posted. makes sure all your wires from the distributer are connected.

ok... do u think because i was racing to hard?? i dont i was racing a 94 honda accord on the bronx river highway coming back home.. i was doing the whole dash..it was like back and fouth he get in front of and then i'll get in front in him..it was nice though hes car sounded good..anyways i think my car got to hot

won't start
Could be fuel delivery, or ingnition. there is a Main relay under the dash just above the hood release. it should be gray or black. has a 10mm bolt holding it in. pull it down and hold it when you turn the car on. you should feel it click. if not you may need to replace it. it controlls the fuel pump.

I cant find the main relay... i checked all my fusese,they are all good..Its not the the main relay, i think is my Ignetion moduel(the little grey box under the hood in the far up right on the side..i pulled a sprak plug out and see if i got ant spraks off the engine, i didnt so when that happens u need a ignetion moduel.. am i rite??...Do i have to go to the dealship to buy and main relay if thats the problem???

THE MAIN RELAY IS A DEALER ITEM ONLY, BUT IF YOU HAVE NO SPARK END YOU ARE SURE OF THAT. THEN IT IS YOUR IGNIGHTER. IT IS A SMALL MODULE INSIDE THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP THAT SUPPLIES SPARK. IT IS A VERY COMMON PROPBLEM IN OUR CARS. WHEN IT GOES IT JUST SHUTS OFF. WHEN EVER WHERE EVER. THERE ARE NO SYMPTOMS.
IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE, AND WILL TAKE YOU ABOUT 1/2 HOUR TO CHANGE. MY FRIND FRANK KEEPS ONE IN HIS CAR JUST IN CASE. THE BOX UNDER THE HOOD IS FOR THE INJECTORS NOT THE IGNITION. |
