I have a 2003 Tahoe and when I turn on the heated seats they stay on for a minute then shut right back off. Any thoughts on what could be causing this and where I should check first????

Re: Heated seats shutting off
If equiped with one, check the circuit breaker and the amp draw from the seats. If only one is turned on will it stay on?

Re: Heated seats shutting off
Acutally if the drivers side is on and you turn on the passenger side they both shut off and vice versa.

Re: Heated seats shutting off
I have an 04 with very similar results....although sometimes it actually works and stays on long enough to get warm. Also when I press the button...I here a small faint click from under the dash??? is this normal? Relay under there somewhere? Any info on troubleshooting this problem would be appreciated.

A factory repair manual or a All data online repair info sub. is you best repair and trouble shooting info. http://www.alldata.com/products/diy/index.html The free AZ web site has some All data repair info. But do not know if they get into heated seats. MT
