Supercharger

Need to find a good place to get a supercharger for my 97 2.4L cavalier. And maybe even a turbo and is it a good idea to get both or not if not then wich one would be better?

I personally like superchargers, because you get a flatter power curve. With a turbo, your engine won't put out max power until you max out your RPM's, beause it rely's on the exhaust to supply the turbo with power to provide boost, meaning that the turbo isn't spinning it's fastest until your higher RPM's, i.e. when the motor is producing the most exhaust. This yields a slower takeoff. A supercharger on the other hand, operates off of the belt drive, so it provides boost at almost any RPM.

However, note that a turbo yields the most max power, it's just very high in the RPM range. Also, you can adjust the boost of a turbocharger from inside the car by getting a boost controller. That way if you dont' wanna thrash your engine for daily driving you can turn the boost way down, but when you race, crank it up!! A supercharger requires you to chage pully's under the hood to change your boost. It only takes about 5 minutes, but it's not as convenient as a turbo boost controller.

You can have both. Then the supercharger engages at take off, until you get to a certain RPM, then it shuts off and the turbo kicks in. This gives you the best of both worlds... and if you have some huge stash of cash laying around then go for it.

There are about a thousand turbo kits out there for the cavy's... I would just go to google.com and run a search for "2.2 cavalier turbocharger"
