Getting a ZC is this a good price?

ZC Engine - 1100
Tranny - 350
Dist - 0
ECU - 200

Shift Linkage - 90
Pedals - 50
Clutch Cable - 10
Throttle Cable - 10
CV Shafts - 120
Tranny Mounts - 50

Labour - 500
MPFI conversion - 200
Auto to Manual Labour - 200

Grand Total = $2880 Canadian Dollars or about $1800 US dollars

Also he said he'd replace any things such as timming belt, water pump, seals, etc. for free of charge as long as I buy the parts.

So how does that sound? The price of the engine is $1650 CDN alone. Is he trying to rip me off? He really sounds like he knows what hes talking about so would that be worth it?

Not sure of the conversions. But a ZC Motor, trans, and ECU package can be had in the US for $700. You do not need new motor mounts, unless yours are shot. You also do not need new shift linkage, clutch cable, or throttle cable, unless you just want them replaced for the hell of it. $200 to run a couple wires for the mpfi swap is pretty steep in my opinion also.

WHOLY SHIT thats a lot of money. I payed $1600 cdn. installed for my ZC.. It was only 1500 for an Si at the shop.. They're called IMTECH and they're located in Guelph, Ontario if you want to find their number and call them about getting a ZC from them.. That price is nuts.. Man, I only payed $1250 for my B16 (motor, tranny, ECU). (canadian funds)
